November Initiative Meeting

A social call out to you this November! A cultural celebration! A meeting of networks to celebrate the initiative of youth! Come warm up with a weekend of awakening workshops and lively activities this winter...

13-15 November sees Järna come alive with a unique multi-purpose community event. Föreningen SOFIA and Urban Company are working together to host a space for local and international youth, with Idem Sweden, the International Youth Initiative Program (YIP) and many others both contributing and participating. This is a meeting to come together in a social atmosphere to have fun, share in each other's initiatives and learn about projects from around the world.

Maria Sendow from the Awake Project will offer an energetic full day body and voice workshop on Saturday whilst the famous Craft Village get busy behind Gula Villan to provide a hands-on crafting workshop – and a great place to get to know each other! Representatives from the international ‘Connectivity’ initiative will also be present to work on their project and share it with you as a theme over the weekend.

On Sunday we will be hosted by YIP at the Rudolf Steiner Seminar in Ytterjärna where we will have our closing activities. Transport will be arranged.

Accommodation on Friday and Saturday night will be available at the Novalis School, a 5min walk from Gula Villan.

We invite you to participate in the full weekend program, however, if you would like to join us for the evening celebrations alone you are more than welcome to come and get to know the participants and enjoy great live music and DJ’s in a great atmosphere!

On the evenings of Friday 13^th and Saturday 14^th, Urban Company is opening the doors of Gula Villan to the community for some exciting music and entertainment including live music by Goloka and Guy Collins, DJ Jonas Färnlöf, a fire show and much more – late nights guaranteed!
